Suganth from The Times of India rated this film 2 stars out of 5 stars and said “Siva Karthikeyan has given a clear entertainer once again after doctor and Don and he ensured to find the pulse of the audience”, which again is a very decent rating. Sibby Jeyya from India Herald rated this film 4 stars out of 5 stars, a positive rating from a critic.
