Plot of Maaran
Sathyamoorthy is a trustworthy investigative journalist who uncovers a story regarding a powerful figure. While honesty is a virtue, he advises his son Mathimaaran that cunning is also required to keep him and his family safe. Pazhani’s intention to rig a forthcoming election by modifying the EVM machines is exposed by Maaran and his associates. Thugs hunting for Maaran’s evidence assault Maaran, his coworker and love interest, Thara, and Shweta shortly after. Maaran learns that Shweta had a steel plate implanted in her right arm as a result of childhood surgery.
Pazhani’s aide had entrusted Parthiban with the task of replacing the phony EVM machines with the real ones. Maaran’s daughter discovered his participation after the story broke and confronted him. She’d burned herself on fire after finding that her father had cheated the system to pay for her schooling.
