Kantara is a newly launched Kannada Movie that was released on 30th September 2022 and Digitally released on the famous OTT platform on 24th November 2022. The director and writer of the film are Rishab Shetty he also directed “Sa.Hi.Pra.Shaale Kasaragodu, Koduge: Ramanna Rai” in 2018, and “Kirik Party” in 2016 his debut in film directing started in 2016 by directing “Ricky” released in 2016. The film is dubbed into Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, and other regional languages.

The producer of the film is Vijay Kiragandur he also produced the famous film KGF chapter 2 released in 2022. The main character of the film is Rishab Shetty as Kaadubettu Shiva and Siva’s father. The budget of Kantara is ₹16 crores (US$ 1.95 million) and the current box office of this film is ₹400.90 crores (US$ 49 million).

There is a total of six songs in the film Kantara. The first song from this film is “Singara Siriye” sung by Vijay Prakash and Ananya Bhat. The second song from this film is “Rebel Song” sung by Mime Ramdas and Rishab Shetty. The third song from this film is “Karma Song” sung by Venkatesh DC.
