Jayeshbhai Jordaar (2022) Bollywood Movie

Jayeshbhai Jordaar

Jayeshbhai Jordaar is a newly launched Hindi Language Bollywood Movie. The film was released on 13 May 2022. The film features Ranveer Singh, Shalini Pandey, Boman Irani, and Ratna Pathak Shah as the main characters of the film. Do you remember a time? When social comedy was run in the theater. A middle-class common man’s life Make a comedy movie on it by holding the unforced side. Ayushmann Khurrana I’m talking about you, do you remember or have you forgotten?

I am reminding you of this because today Ranveer Singh’s Jayeshbhai Jordaar movie has been released. And as the name says the film is also Jordaar. But after watching this film I am thinking that this film can become only a case study.  I think movies like case studies no longer work in the film theatre anymore, I will explain why I think that after knowing that “How is the film?” The film is very good. Ranveer Singh’s Character Jayeshbhai is the son of his village’s “Sarpanch” That’s why he has a responsibility that he has to produce a boy from his wife for the next generation of their family.

But, 9 years ago he got his first child which was female and when the film is running he will going to get a female child again. The Father of Jayeshbhai who is the “Sarpanch” of their village is following an Old type of Ideology and he only wants a Male child what even can Jayeshbhai can do? Take the side of his wife or his father? If wife then how far he can go to protect his wife and so on. I will not continue the story from here because it will be a spoiler. You know I don’t give spoilers.

But, first of all, I am going to judge my own character after watching how they showed patriarchy and misogyny in this film because they are showing a very serious thing and I am getting a laugh. Like seriously If you don’t have an idea then go and watch the trailer of this film, When a complaint comes to the “Sarpanch” of that village that a female has been teased by a male and the “Sarpanch” said that stop the good smelling soup of females, If they don’t take bath with good then males will not teas them. To fix this type of society the character of Ranvir Singh goes to a very high level and I loved to see it.

I want to say first that I am not supporting it. They showed us the film and I enjoyed watching it. The enjoyment which I got was because of the three main characters are Jayeshbhai, his wife, and his daughter. The chemistry between them is just mind-blowing. And I am not joking. If you go to watch this film because of the biggest star Ranveer Singh then when the film will start you will see another big star who is Jia Vaidya who played the role of Ranvir’s daughter. Seriously, because even this film features Boman Irani, Ratna Pathak Shah, Ranveer Singh but at the end the most shining actor of the film which I thought it Jia Vaidya.

This does not mean that other characters did bad work. I will talk about them also but before that, If you have already watched the film trailer of the film then your mind can have a question “We have already watched many films like this, So, what will happen to this film? Will it become a mediocre film like them?” So the answer is no. Because the topic which this film addresses is not a soft topic. And no one will think this film is joking and light weight after watching how they constructed patriarchy in this film.  You will see a unique flavor because of the work done by Ranvir’s Character in the film. You will be angry over his moves, will also laught over his moves, and will also feel sympathy for him.

The things which I talked about before is about the First half of the film and the second half of the film is much loos and you will think that some of the characters are doing try. Also, the story of the second half becomes much more predictable that’s why I didn’t enjoy it much compared to the first half. One perticular thing which I didn’t like about the film, a dialoge about patio pack, I thought It is necessary to add this? The character who quoted this dialogue is not liked by me. First of all you are showing that if she got beaten by his husbend then it is OK because they are teached from their childhood that it is OK. And then the character says I’m Patipack in front of the whole family. But, no problem these minor issues of the film in the second half of the film don’t make the film bad. And overall the Jayeshbhai Jordaar film which was released in very much good.

The case study which I was talking about, this film can become a case study because the film is good but the marketing of this film is not done greatly and this film was sceduled to release in 2020. At this time, audiences’ interest is changed, and I don’t think people will like to go to the theatre to watch this type of film. Maybe, if this film can be released on an OTT platform at the time of Lockdown then It can be better because the subject of the film that killing of women in homes is not a new subject anymore. There are many many movies made on this subject but I felt sympathy after watching the condition of women shown in this film.

Maybe, you will not get anything new to see in this film but the journey of the Ranvir family is very interesting and this is a social film which succesfull to deliver its message to the audience. The performance is very good, its screenplay is very good, It has serious topic and with all of this, the film has good comedy also. If you are interested to watch this type of films then you can watch this film by going to the theatre. I will recommend you to watch this film with your family but there are two kissing scenes if it is normal then OK. If you want to watch this film then I will suggest you to watch it when It will come to a OTT platform but the film is very good. If you are a fan of Ranvir Singh then you should not miss this film because his work in this film is very good.
