Reviews

The Bommai got very bad reviews from critics and amazing but suspicious reviews from audiences. Only 7 people rated this movie 9.1 stars out of 10 stars on IMDb, which are amazing reviews but can be fake as reviewers are very much low. Logesh Balachandran from The Times of India rated this movie 2 stars out of 5 stars and said “Overall, Bommai could have been yet another good film in Radha Mohan’s filmography if he had worked a bit on incorporating some real conflicts.”

Bharathy Singaravel from The News Minutes rated this movie 1 star out of 5 stars and said “As harsh as it may sound, Bommai is nothing short of a repelling watch. The film may be dismissed as unintentionally humorous given how laughable most of the events in the story are. But what the film really does is reveal a gender politics that is built on quite literally objectifying female bodies, while granting humanity to women solely on the basis of how good they are at mothering men.

Janani K from India Today rated this movie 1 star out of 5 stars and said “If Bommai was as uninteresting as it could get, it has tacky VFX in a dreamy sequence. Now, that’s two films with tacky VFX that have graced the screens today, June 16. If you’re wondering what the other one is, we will spell it for you – Adipurush it is!
